Our Team

What you appreciate, appreciates. What you do not appreciate, depreciates

We are thankful to have a strong community around us who have supported and helped us grow and build Fox Moon Farm to what it is today. Many of these friends have been with us for years.

Today, we are fortunate enough to be able to count some of these friends as staff members and Directors on our Board. They inspire and guide us, share their wisdom and insight, pull us up when we are down and share in our triumphs when we rise up. Thank you!

In a world that speeds through the day and values a culture of hustling, it's easy to forget how to slow down to appreciate the little things. Our horses help with relearning this, but also the innocence of our children as well.

The kids remind us, that it does not always need to be about reaching goals written down on mandated paperwork. It is also about the unfiltered, joyful view of the world through the eyes of a child that is free of the pressures of life.

It is about Kenneth stopping to notice the clouds on a walk to the lake. It is about Kadence looking closely in wonder at the first pink blossoms of spring. It is about Trevor seeing his innocence reflected back at him in the form of a baby chick, cradled gently in his hands. It is about Levi smelling a dandelion that goes otherwise unnoticed. It is about Desi looking intensely in the forest for the coolest looking stick.

When we take a step back to let our kids be kids, we can be reminded of the value of being in the moment and just maybe, however fleeting... we'll remember how to be young again too.

We don't know about you all, but we are ready for spring! Flowers blooming, warmer weather, baby goats... that's right! It's looking like another spring of babies to jump their way into our hearts. Last year we had Isis, Isiah, Irma, and Irene. This is the year of 'J' named babies.

Let us know in the comments what we should be naming this year's batch of cuties! 🐐⤵️
