Did you know that many autistic individuals experience the world at a heightened sensory intensity? Sounds, textures, emotions — everything can feel amplified.

Before we can learn, grow, or connect, our nervous system has to feel safe.

Nature is one of the most effective co-regulators there is. There are no screens. No timers. No pressure. Just fresh air, animal breath, and the steady earth beneath your feet.

We meet every participant exactly where they are. Because that's where healing begins. 💚

Counting eggs sounds simple — but watch closely.

There's a child practicing sequencing and number recognition. There's a sensory experience: the cool, smooth curve of a freshly laid egg in small hands. There's the thrill of a "treasure hunt" with a real living reward.

And there's a hen who doesn't care about diagnoses or behavioral charts. She just clucks and goes about her day — which is exactly the kind of nonjudgmental presence that helps nervous systems relax.

At The Fox Moon Farm Project, our chickens, goats, miniature donkeys, horses — and yes, our pet pig Sassy — are all part of the therapeutic team. 🐖🐐🐴

Every animal interaction is a gentle teacher. Every farm chore is a hidden lesson in life skills, focus, and pride.
