The Leadership Program is the pinnacle of our Healing with Horses initiative.
Designed for individuals who have successfully completed the Healing with Horses horsemanship skills and graduated from the program, the Leadership Program signifies a significant achievement. Participants in this program have not only mastered all fundamental horsemanship skills but have also demonstrated the maturity, responsibility, and emotional intelligence required to mentor and lead other children in the program.
In the Leadership Program, participants play a crucial role in supporting the Program Director and equine specialists. They are entrusted with managing various aspects of the program, including engaging in field activities with the horses to promote and showcase the program to the public. Additionally, they assist in working with other children in the program, imparting horsemanship skills, and organizing special events such as birthday parties and themed gatherings for program participants.
The primary objective of the Leadership Program is to further develop and solidify leadership skills in participants, empowering them to take on leadership roles within the Healing with Horses and in their own lives. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and active involvement in program management, participants in the Leadership Program hone their leadership abilities and contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of the Healing with Horses program and in the process, to their own growth in healing and learning.
